The Bears make great announcement regarding Walter Payton

Arguably one of the greatest Bears of all-time and one of the best running backs of all-time, Walter Payton would have celebrated his 71st birthday.

The Bears took to social media to wish a happy birthday to the greatest player to ever wear number 34 and the man that led them to a Super Bowl in 1986.

Payton tragically passed away in due to a liver disease in 1999 and despite it being many years since then, the legendary #34 still lives on in Bears fans hearts.
