Details Revealed on Chicago Bears' 5th-Round Draft Pick from Kansas

With their 5th-round draft pick, the Chicago Bears selected Kansas edge rusher Austin Booker:


The Bears were able to draft Booker after trading their 2025 4th-round pick to the Bills in exchange for this selection.

Booker was someone that the Bears showed interest in during their scouting this past season.


Booker completed the 2023 season as his best year yet, making a total of 56 tackles - 12 of those for a loss, 8 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles. He was also named as the Big 12 Defensive Newcomer of the Year and was named as a First-team All-Big 12.

Booker is expected to continue improving his game and can make a great addition to this young roster in the upcoming NFL season.
