After Going Undrafted, the Bears have Signed Kentucky's Brenden Bates

After going undradted at the draft this weekend, the Bears have signed Kentucky TE Brenden Bates:
Bates spent his college career playing 5 seasons at Kentucky. He finished the 5 years appearing in a total of 43 games, where he made a total of 26 catches for 275 yards, along with 2 touchdowns.
Though Bates did not get to hear his name called at the draft this past weekend, he will still be able to fight for a roster spot on the Bears.
