In an article from Myles Simmons of NBC Sports, he writes about an interview he had with Chargers WR Joshua Palmer, where he talks about what it's like without his former teammates; Mike Williams and new Bears WR Keenan Allen:
This offseason, the Chargers released veteran WR Mike Williams after 7 seasons with the team. Then, one day after the release of Williams, the Chargers traded veteran WR and 6-time Pro Bowler Keenan Allen to the Bears.
Now, without his former teammates, Palmer feels different on the team and is missing his "best friends:"
"Definitely different when you're used to having your two best friends out there and now they are not"
- Palmer said
The Chargers have a young team and though not many big name receivers, they have a ton of talent and are ready to build around their QB Justin Herbert.
