The NFL has changed it format on kickoffs for the upcoming season which was utilized by the XFL last season.
With these changes, teams will be making a lot of changes to their kickoff strategies including the Bears that are apparently looking at everyone and anyone to be their kicker when it comes to kickoffs.
"Anybody with a helmet that can kick off," Hightower said, via Pro Football Talk, "is always in play."
This is a format that the Chiefs have been using as they have their safety Justin Reid as their kicker for kickoffs instead of Harrison Butker since Reid can kick the ball and be useful as an extract defender on the return.
