BREAKING: Patriots have Traded Away QB Mac Jones in Exchange for a 6th-Round Pick
As revealed this morning, the Patriots are trading QB Mac Jones to the Jaguars in exchange of a late round-pick, likely in the 6th-round:
Jones was selected by the Patriots as the team's 1st-round draft pick in 2021.
Though he had an "okay" rookie year, his performance has greatly declined since and has been benched several times in the past 2 seasons.
Now, after playing in 42 games for the Patriots, the team is now moving on from the former 15th overall draft pick. Jones will likely be serving as the Jaguars backup QB once he arrives to Jacksonville.
