YIKES: Ex-NFL RB & Super Bowl Champion has been Arrested
As reported by TMZ, former Giants RB Derrick Ward was arrested for allegedly committing several robberies:
Ward was drafted by the Jets as the teams 7th round selection in 2004. Ahead of his rookie season however, he was cut, and he signed with the Giants shortly after.
He then spent the next 5 seasons with the Giants, where he won a Super Bowl with the team in 2008.
Ward then went on to play for the Buccaneers and then the Texans until retiring from the NFL in 2012.
After Ward was taken into custody for these robberies, his bail was set at $250,000
