One of the biggest news stories this past week has been about superstar running back Jonathan Taylor wanting out of Indianapolis, and wanting to be traded. After his contract extension conversion went negality, Taylor requested to be traded, but the Colts owner said no. However, many teams are interested in Taylor
As reported by top NFL insider Ian Rapoport, many GMs around the NFL want to trade for Taylor. Watch the clip here:
As stated by Rapoport, he knows "a couple at least who are planning to call the Colts." Taylor is a young RB with a ton of talent, so it would be shocking if teams were not interested.
The main reason why Taylor wants to leave the Colts is because of financial reasons, but the Chicago Bears can solve this. The Bears have the highest salary cap in the NFL, meaning they have money to spend. If the Colts owner Jim Irsay does agree to trade him, then the Bears may be the perfect fit.
The Bears should pursue him, as they have money to spend, and could use an All-Pro RB on their team.
