Bears Media Reveals the Standout Player of Day 1 in Pads
Today is the very first day at training camp that players are playing in pads. This means we will be seeing more physicality, energy, and all around more football. The media has been paying close attention to each snap, and after many tweets, it looks like one particular player shined the most today; defensive tackle Gervon Dexter.
Some may not know Dexter, as he was just drafted by the Bears this past offseason, as the 53rd pick in the 2023 draft.
Dexter spent his college football days playing for the University of Florida, where he spent 3 seasons with them until entering the draft. He finished college with 125 tackles, 5 sacks, and 2 interceptions.
Coming into training camp, he was not a big name around the league. However, his name is getting a lot of buzz right now, so we should be expecting to hear about him more.
