What a wholesome moment from a bunch of kids at this MLB game.
On Thursday night in Washington, one young fan put in his bid for the catch of the year by going full-extension to snag a foul ball hit by the Nats' Nelson Cruz in the second inning.
The kid was wearing a baseball glove and tracked it all the way as it came to land over his left shoulder. He reached back, grabbed the ball, and raised his hand in the air to celebrate. The kid tried to play it cool - but the excitement soon took over.
His friends in the row in front jumped up and down, and he soon followed suit.
It was a cool moment for the Nationals fan, but one of very few in their game against the Phillies.
Washington was beaten 10-1 by Philadelphia and slumped to 23-43 for the season.
