It was quite apparent that the Bears offense has been sloppy these past few seasons, and the blame is and should be on former Bears OC Luke Getsy.

In a new podcast with Colts linebackers EJ Speed and Zaire Franklin, they discuss how Fields is a great QB but has been stuck with a bad OC:

Speed and Franklin discuss how Fields is a "hell of a player," but due to the Bears offensive scheme, Fields and the offense were bad.

As linebackers, Speed and Franklin explain how they would love to play against an offense like Getsy's. It was sloppy, predicable, and every defenders dream.

Speed and Franklin believe that the Bears should stick with Fields for the 2024 season and to draft Ohio State WR Marvin Harrison Jr. The team should build around Fields and get him an OC who can run a good offense.
