WATCH: New Video Showcases Scary Talent from Bears 2nd-Round DT after he Smokes All-Pro Guard
A new video shows the Bears and Colts competing in an offseason practice. As shown in this new clip, we see Bears DT Gervon Dexter getting passed Colts All-Pro guard Quenton Nelson with ease:
Dexter was drafted by the Bears in the 2nd-round of the 2023 draft. He spent 3 seasons playing college football with Florida Gators, where he was a standout DT. He finished college with 125 tackles, 5 sacks, and 2 interceptions.
Though fans were confused when Dexter was first drafted, as he was not known as a guy who can sack, fans are now feeling excited about his arrival. He clearly has been working on his speed and strength this offseason, and this video shows that.
