WATCH: Bears HC Eberflus Responds Weirdly to DC Alan Williams Return Questions - Makes it Seem like He is No Longer with the Team
During Bears head coach Matt Eberflus' press conference with the media, he was asked about if defensive coordinator Alan Williams is still with the team, where Eberflus responds with:
"I do not have an update on Alan Williams right now"
Eberflus then declined to elaborate on if he and Williams have spoken, and if Williams is even still a member of the team.
Last week, it was revealed that Williams would not join the team for week 2, due to personal reasons. Since this report, there have been no more updates on the matter, and Eberflus is apart of that.
Williams joined the Bears in 2022 to serve as the team's DC, and now, we are not sure if he is still with the team.
