USC Offensive Lineman Andrew Vorhees Sets Record for Most Bench Press Reps Despite Torn ACL Sustained at Combine
Despite tearing his ACL at the NFL combine, Andrew Vorhees, a former USC Trojans offensive lineman, is not letting this setback bring him down. He demonstrated his strength in the bench press by pumping out an impressive 38 reps of a 225-pound barbell while wearing a brace and hobbling on crutches. This is four more reps than the next closest competitor.
Vorhees, who NFL.com projected to be a future NFL starter, has not been selected by a team in the draft yet, and his torn ACL and subsequent long recovery may affect his draft status. ESPN's Todd McShay had originally predicted that he would be drafted in the fourth round. However, Vorhees is determined to recover fully and hopefully earn a chance to compete for a job in the NFL in 2024.

This is so impressive, especially with no leg drive.
