The Bears do not have a first-round pick in this year's draft. This doesn't mean we cannot add some significant talent to the roster. Here is one offensive tackle, one receiver, and one cornerback that will most likely be available in the later rounds of the 2022 draft.
Nicolas Petit-Frere, Ohio State OT
Petit-Frere is a 6 foot 5-inch 315 pounds left tackle who comes out of the university of Ohio-State. The renowned program is used to producing elite NFL players at an incredible rate. He has proven to have very fluid and solid footwork. He can also play on the right side of the line if needs be.
John Metchie III, Alabama Wr
Metchie is a 6-foot receiver out of Alabama. There is no denying that Alabama receivers seem to gel very well at the NFL level. Metchie tore an ACL during the 2021 season which hurts his draft stock. He however had 1045 yards and 7 touchdowns before getting hurt.
Coby Bryant, Cincinnati CB
Bryant is a 6-foot 1-inch rangy cornerback who was awarded the Jim Thorpe trophy given to the best DB in college football in 2021. He formed the best cornerback duo with other draft prospect Ahmad-Sauce-Gardner. He tallied 11 pass breakups, 3 interceptions, and 3 touchdowns in 2021. The fact that he was named after NBA legend Kobe Bryant shouldn't go unnoticed as well.
