This receiver was the most dominant at the combine
We have been banging the table for weeks now that NDSU wide receiver Christian Watson should be on the radar big time for the Bears.
Yesterday, he helped his stock in a big time. I know that having a great combine does not guarantee a great NFL career, but it sure helps. Watson had, in my opinion, the best performance yesterday.
First of all, his measurements were insane. He is 6"4, 208 pounds and has 10" 1/8 hands. He ran an unofficial 4.28-second at the 40 yard-dash. He also had the longest broad jump of any players yesterday (over 11 feet). However, what impressed me the most was his drills. He ran some great routes and he was extremely fluid catching the ball.
I think there is a chance he is still in the second round because so many receivers had a great night yesterday. He could do wonders in Luke Getsy's offense.
