This play was beyond belief!!
Despite the lack of national recognition throughout his career, Matt Forte was a great running back who deserves a lot more credit for what he did as a Chicago Bear.
Real football fans know that Forte was one of the 3 most complete running back for most of his career in the NFL. He brought so much value to the team.
During his eight years in Chicago, no player had more total yards from scrimmage (12,718). Only three more players had more rushing yards (8,602) and no running back had more receptions (487).
He ended his playing days with the New York Jets, adding an additional 1,749 total yards from scrimmage prior to signing a one-day contract in 2018 to retire as a Bear.
