This Packers star is feeling "DISRESPECTED"
With the Aaron Rodgers trade that has occurred just a couple of weeks ago, there is ALREADY drama in Green Bay. Now with Rodgers gone, there are many questions about the future of Green Bay, and it seems like the organization is not accepting this change.
As reported from ESPN, members of the Packers organization are refusing to use the word "rebuild," and Packers star offensive tackle, David Bakhtiari, is not happy with that.
After an OTA practice, Bakhtiari said:
"How I look at is, it's disrespectful to say you're not rebuilding off a Hall of Fame quarterback."
The Packers traded the unhappy Rodgers after much drama with the team, and this will be the Packers first season in over a decade without their 4-time MVP. It sounds bizarre to not think of this as a rebuild, because, this certainly is one. When you lose your Hall of Fame QB, the entire organization is changed. The thought of seeing a new QB starting will make Rodgers' former teammates a bit uncomfortable. This team is changing, and it needs a fresh start. This is indeed a "rebuild."
