This connection will make or break the Bears in 2022
Darnell Mooney has been such an underrated player ever since he was drafted late in the 2020 NFL draft. He broke the 1000 receiving yards mark last season with QB Justin Fields throwing him the football. During their games together, Mooney truly became Fields' go-to guy.
Mooney will get his chance at WR1 with the departure of Allen Robinson and with a slew of unproven commodities in Byron Pringle, rookie Velus Jones Jr. and Equanimeous St. Brown.
This is why the duo of Fields and Mooney may very well define the success of this team going forward.
