These two defensive players have a lot to prove on Sunday
It's finally here, the Bears will be facing the San Francisco 49ers at 1 pm EST this Sunday. While this might be a tough matchup on paper, I expect Chicago to show up and to surprise a lot of skeptics.
In order for that to happen, a lot of key players will have to step up big time. Here are two examples of crucial players that must have a great outing if the bears want to be able to neutralize Trey Lance and that San Francisco offense.
Safety Jaquan Brisker
I know that Brisker has not played in a regular season game yet, but I still think the world of this kid. We have been hearing nothing but amazing things on his behalf during training camp and he was the most dominant player on the field during the one preseason game he played in against the Chiefs. Unfortunately for him, he had to receive surgery on his hand after that game. However, all the reports we have been hearing about his status are very reassuring. It looks like he will be 100%. I think this guy is not only a great scheme player but a fantastic playmaker who can impact the game in so many ways.
