Jake Bargas signs with the Bears after spending the last two years on the Vikings practice squad. Bargas has played in two career games, moving to the Vikings 53-man roster as a standard elevation for games against the Saints (Dec. 25, 2020) and Lions (Dec. 5, 2021). The Boca Raton, Florida, native signed with Minnesota as an undrafted free agent out of North Carolina in 2020, as he transitioned to fullback from tight end once he joined the Vikings.
The Bears have also added receiver David Moore to the injured reserve list. This comes after he was carted off during training camp. Moore has appeared in 50 NFL games with 14 starts over five seasons with the Seahawks (2017-20), Broncos (2021) and Packers (2021). He has caught 78 passes for 1,163 yards and 13 touchdowns and averaged 8.8 yards on 21 punt returns.
