The Bears are now missing two other key offensive players for Bears Family Fest
Tuesday, August 9 has not been a great day so far for Bears Nation. It seems like every report we are receiving is a bad one. Well, here is another one.
Adam Hoge reported that a couple of players who haven't been out on the field in a while: Cole Kmet and Teven Jenkins.
I noticed Kmet shake out his left arm/shoulder after a block earlier in practice. Looked to be in some pain, but tried to fight through it.
While both players should still be available for Week 1, barring unforeseen circumstances, it still is bad news to see them missing valuable practice time. TE Cole Kmet is projected to be one of the two biggest passing options for young QB Justin Fields. I think he will need to step up big time in order to fill the void left by multiple injuries at the wide receiving position.

As for Jenkins, this may indicate that he had a slight setback since he was ramping up to get back to full practices!
Hopefully, both players will get back to 100% as soon as possible. With the roster as thin as it is right now, we can't afford to lose more player for a significant amount of time.
