New Bears wide receiver carted off the field at practice...
This has been such a bad news day for the Chicago Bears. After the horrible news that LB Roquan Smith was asking for a trade, we are now sad to report that WR David Moore has been carted off the field from today's practice.
Here is a Tweet from Colleen Kane:
Wideouts dropping like flies for the Bears with David Moore getting carted off.
They're going to need to bring in another body or two at this rate.- Matt Eurich
David Moore was a 2017 seventh-round pick for the Seattle Seahawks. Now, he is in the mix to compete for a wide receiver roster spot with the Chicago Bears. He had a nice run with the Seahawks. He hardly played in 2017, but from 2018-2020 was a complimentary threat who had great chemistry with Russell Wilson and added key splash plays.
Moore was notably arrested on July 7. The officer who made the arrest smelled marijuana in the vehicle, searched it and found THC edibles and three pistols. Moore was subsequently arrested for alleged Possession Controlled Substance PG2 and for Unlawful Carrying Weapons.
