Ian Rapoport has reported that the Chicago Bears have been receiving calls about a potential trade regarding second-year OT Teven Jenkins. Jenkins has not been practicing since the start of training camp and was demoted to second-team this off-season. It looks like some bad blood might be settling between him and the new regime.
It is also known that new regimes are much more willing to part ways with young players that weren't drafted by them. Ryan Poles has no particular attachment to Jenkins who was drafted by the previous regime.
Teams have been calling and it is clear that the Bears have been listening. Jenkins is young and talented and has great potential. However, is his time in Chicago coming to an end?
