Promising young CB suffered a hamstring injury...
Brad Biggs reported that Bears coach Matt Eberflus said CB Thomas Graham will be sidelined for some time with a hamstring issue.
This is bad news. Graham was one of the players that would have benefited the most from a solid training camp. He showed so many great things during his rookie campaign last year and he was looking forward to building on that.
Graham is supposed to get a chance to compete early for a starting job with a pair of vacancies open at outside corner opposite Jaylon Johnson and slot corner with the departure of Buster Skrine.
During rookie minicamp earlier this summer, Graham mentioned that he was told to learn both positions outside and slot which would not only bring some versatility but give him a chance to earn a starting role.
Hopefully, Graham is able to come back healthy as soon as possible and he can show why he deserves some playing time. With the new coaching staff this year, nothing will be given to nobody!
