The available free agent WR market in 2023 is looking horrible...
We all know that the Bears' wide receivers are not where they need to be. I believe that Darnell Mooney is a true stud and I expect him to take another huge step in 2022. However, besides him, I don't think the Bears have a lot of young talented players that could be part of the future plans.
With that being said, it's not looking good for the Bears to add a true stud WR in free agency next year. While the Bears have a lot of cap space, they don't have many options.
Here is what Jacob Infante said on the subject:
Looking at free agent WRs the #Bears could target in 2023:
 DJ Chark
 Jakobi Meyers
 Allen Lazard
 Jamison Crowder
 JuJu Smith-Schuster
 Mecole Hardman
Meyers and Chark could be good at the right price, and Lazard might break out this year. Overall, though? Yikes.
I think the bears might have to be looking for wide receiver help in the draft and they will have to use all of the available cap space to boost up other parts of the roster. They still have a few years left with a cheap QB contract in Justin Fields!
