As announced by Steelers head coach, the team has decided to start backup QB Justin Fields in week 2, instead of planned starter Russell Wilson:
During training camp, the Steelers revealed that Wilson was named as the starter for the season. However, due to calf tightness ahead of week 1, the team decided to start Fields.
After getting the win against the Falcons, the Steelers are continuing with Fields, even though Wilson's injury is almost fully healed.
