Speculation of Patrick Kane's Return to Blackhawks Arises After Significant Chicago Investment
Patrick Kane is widely regarded as one of the greatest players to ever don a Chicago Blackhawks jersey. However, during the week leading up to the trade deadline last month, he was finally traded to the New York Rangers amid much speculation about his future with the team.
Before the trade, many wondered whether Kane would finish out his contract with the Blackhawks or be dealt to another team. Interestingly, several months prior to being traded, Kane had purchased a $5 million home in Lake Forest, complete with five bedrooms, a swimming pool, and 1.2 acres on Lake Road.
Given this recent real estate investment, some are now wondering whether Kane might return to Chicago in the off-season. While there is no clear answer, the purchase has certainly fueled speculation about his potential return to the Blackhawks.
