Ryan Paces Makes A Wizard Move Regarding Cody Parkey.

"The Chicago Bears made the decision everybody was hoping for when they announced they'd be cutting kicker Cody Parkey. The downfall of the situation is Parkey is owed guaranteed money and the release comes with a cap hit. However Bears general manager Ryan Pace being the wizard he is along with his team, figured out a way to defer it. According to Adam Hoge, the Bears will designate Parkey as a post June 1 release which defers about $1.1million of the cap hit to 2020. That means it'll give the Bears a little bit more cap space this year.
