Roster Moves: Bears have signed Former Pro Bowler
As revealed earlier today, the Bears have signed veteran long snapper and former Pro Bowler Matt Overton:
This news comes just one day after it was revealed that Overton was trying out for the team.
Overton entered the NFL back in 2007, and has since played for several different teams. His longest stay on a team was from 2012-2016, where he was the starting long snapper for the Colts, also making the Pro Bowl during one of those years.
Since being released by the Cowboys after the 2022 season, Overton has been a free agent looking to sign somewhere new. Now, he is a Bear!
Welcome to Chicago!
