Roster Moves: Bears have Signed Former Denver Broncos Player
Not the news we've been waiting for, but hey, it's something!
The Bears have announced that they are signing former Broncos punter Corliss Waitman to a reserve/future contract:
Waitman went undrafted in 2020, and found himself bouncing around to different practice squads until signing to the Steelers active roster during the 2021 season.
He then signed with the Broncos ahead of the 2022 season, and played in 17 games that season. After an impressive week 3 performance that season, Waitman was named as the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week.
Now, as a free agent and after working out for the Bears, the team has signed him.
