Roster Moves: Bears have Re-Signed Newcomer Defensive End
Before the 2023 season began, the Bears claimed defensive end Khalid Kareem off of the waivers. After being activated before the Chargers matchup and not looking too bad, the Bears released Kareem. However, their reasoning for this was due to their trade for Montez Sweat, according to Bears insider Josh Schrock:
Though the Bears released him, they decided to sign him back, but only to the practice squad.
Before joining the Bears this offseason, Kareem played for both the Bengals and Colts, but struggled with the both. He is now hoping to get another chance while in Chicago
