"San Francisco 49ers kicker Robbie Gould almost single handedly took out the Chicago Bears on Sunday. Gould had five field goals, including the one with four seconds to go which gave the Niners a 15-14 win while eliminating the Bears from playoff contention. After kicking that winning field goal, Gould turned right to the Bears sideline and could be seen yelling at various people. Bears head coach John Fox refused to comment on Gould's reaction, however Gould wasn't shy at all. Gould had some very strong comments and didn't hold back, naming names and taking a shot at the Bears. «It motivated me. It drives me every day. I have Ryan Pace and Jeff Rodgers and John Fox to thank for that. Because if I would've stayed here, who knows what my career would have ended like?" Gould said after the game.
The 35 year old was the Bears most reliable kicker for 11 seasons, hitting 85.4% of his field goals and 99% of his extra points. Gould never missed a kick in the playoffs and was often mentioned as a leader in the locker room. He was cut just before the 2016 season started by Fox and Ryan Pace. What do you think of Gould's comments?
