Reports that the Packers will work very hard to keep Aaron Rodgers
Adam Schefter reported this morning that he expects the Packers to do anything to resign Aaron Rodgers this off-season. He says they are ready to pay him what he wants, even if this means spreading out the contract for a long time. This would certainly be hard for them, cap-wise.
Rodgers is a great player on the field. However, I don't know if it's the best move for the Packers. They are already in such a hole with their salary cap. Rodgers also comes with a lot of distractions off the field. The salary he expects should be near $50 million per year.
I am certain that a lot of Bears fans would love for Rodgers to get out of Green Bay. The packers have been a very dominant team for at least 10 years now.
