With each passing week, the screams and yells from Chicago Bears' fans for head coach John Fox continue to get louder and louder. Despite a vote of confidence from former Bear Brian Urlacher this past week, he seems to be literally the only one saying the Bears should keep Fox around after this season. According to two reputable NFL insiders, Fox will be fired after this season. To start, Ian Rappoport reported on Sunday that "several coaches" on the Bears staff believe it will "not end well" for Fox this year and he will without a doubt be fired. NFL Network's Mike Garafolo took it one step further, Garafolo reported on Sunday that Fox has "accepted his fate" and knows he won't be back next season. Fox has never been able to get going in Chicago with a 12-32 record over three seasons, but it's a bunch of terrible decisions this year that really stand out. Of course there's the challenge from a couple of weeks back, but refusing to let the 49ers score a touchdown last week so the team could get the ball back was classic Fox. The Niners ended up running out the clock and kicking the game winning field goal. Garafolo added that it's expected the Bears will start over with a brand new coaching staff this offseason, probably aimed at building around Mitch Trubisky.
