Unless there's a sudden shift in sentiment, the Indianapolis Colts and Jonathan Taylor seem set on parting ways before the upcoming trade deadline.

The dynamic 24-year-old running back expressed his desire to leave the Colts after a meeting with team owner Jim Irsay earlier in the summer. While the Colts did entertain trade discussions for the 2021 top rusher before the start of the season, none of the offers met their expectations.

Given that Taylor is in the final year of his contract and the Colts seem reluctant to secure a long-term deal, a trade for the 2020 second-rounder seems inevitable before the 2023 deadline.

BetOnline recently unveiled odds predicting Taylor's potential new team if he departs from the Colts. The Baltimore Ravens, with Lamar Jackson at the helm, lead the list with odds at +300. They are followed by the Arizona Cardinals (+400), Chicago Bears (+500), and the Miami Dolphins (+500).

Earlier, ESPN's Stephen Holder hinted at the Colts' interest in securing the sensational receiver Jaylen Waddle from the Dolphins in exchange for Taylor. However, such a move from the Dolphins remains highly unlikely.
