Panthers speak out on rumoured Bryce Young trade talks following benching

This week, after starting the season 0-2, the Panthers have decided to bench QB Bryce Young.

Young was drafted by the Panthers as the 1st-overall pick in the 2023 draft, following a trade with the Bears to acquire this pick.

Young's rookie season was disappointing, and his sophomore year is not looking any better. So far this season, Young has thrown for only 245 yards with 3 interceptions and no touchdowns.

Following the benching announcement, the Panthers took to the media and cleared up any rumors that may be circulating, specifically about Young being traded:
