NFL Legend Explains why Bears' Justin Fields is Better than the Former 1st Pick
After Bears' QB Justin Fields was ranked higher than Jaguars' QB Trevor Lawrence, fans, viewers, and analysts spoke out about their own opinions, many stating that Lawrence should be higher. However, NFL legend LaDainian Tomlinson agrees with the list.
Tomlinson, who is one of the greatest running backs of all time, appeared on NFL Total Access and explained why he believes Fields is better than Lawrence. Tomlinson said:
"Trevor Lawrence can not do what Justin Fields can do with his legs. But, yet, Justin Fields can throw the ball like Trevor Lawrence"

Tomlinson believes that Lawrence can NOT do what Fields does, while Fields has no problem doing what Lawrence specializes in. They both can throw the ball, but Fields is a much better runner than Lawrence.
Both of these QBs were drafted in 2021, with Fields falling to number 11, while Lawrence was the number 1 pick. There have been higher expectations for Lawrence, but it looks like players in the NFL are seeing more star power from the 11th pick, Justin Fields.
