NFL Players/Staff Angry with Coach Sean Payton Over Disrespectful Comments
After a disappointing season for the Denver Broncos last season, they decided to bring in former Super Bowl champ coach, Sean Payton.
With this signing, things are looking up for the organization, but Payton has decided to throw some shade at former coaches and other members around the NFL.
During an interview with USA Today, Payton decided to NOT hold back, and spoke his mind. When asked about the poor play by the Broncos last season, Payton said this:
"They can only beat the (expletive) out of you so much. But everybody's got a little stink on their hands. It's not just Russell. It was a (poor) offensive line. It might have been one of the worst coaching jobs in the history of the NFL. That's how bad it was"
This statement alone got players talking, as well as some shade he threw towards the New York Jets. Payton got many people angry, including former Broncos OL Billy Turner, who was apart of the awful 2022 season. This is what Turner posted via Instagram stories:
It looks like Sean Payton has made some enemies...
