More proof that the Bears' fanbase is so much stronger than the Packers'
Despite a disappointing record, fans are still flocking to purchase Justin Fields jerseys. The latest sales numbers reveal a strong following for the Chicago Bears quarterback.
A recent report from sports retailer Lids shows that Fields' jersey was the top seller in three states: Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana. Despite the Bears finishing with the worst record in the league (3-14), Fields had standout moments that demonstrate his potential as the franchise's future quarterback. He ended the season with 2,242 passing yards, 1,143 rushing yards, and 25 total touchdowns.
With the number one pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, ample cap space for free agency, and a plethora of trade options, it is up to Bears General Manager Ryan Pace to make strategic moves and build a championship-contending team around Fields, leading to a long-awaited return to the playoffs.
