"The Chicago Bears are still dealing with blowback for very controversial pick Mitch Trubisky. He hasn't exactly developed into a franchise quarterback yet while the quarterbacks the Bears passed over, Deshaun Watson and Patrick Mahomes, have. Recently Watson revealed that the Bears didn't even interview him during the draft process and added the Bears never once talked to him. However that statement contradicted statements he made on the Rich Eisen show in 2017 where he said he had a phone call with the Bears. Now Bears' reporter Dan Wiederer added some more information. Wiederer added that the Bears sent their "GM, HC, director of player personal, QB coach, and OC coach to Deshaun Watson's pro day.The extent of the Bears contact with Watson at the pro day was nothing more than "hey Deshaun what's going on?"Check out the full interview below:
