Matt Eberflus shares his thoughts on the Bears veteran players not showing up to the voluntary OTAs
Today was the second day of OTAs for the Chicago Bears. OTAs are organized team practice activities that take place in the third phase of each club's 9-week offseason workout program. Generally, OTA activities consist of meetings, drills and studying of films. Teams can conduct practice for six hours maximum but cannot keep players on the field for more than two hours.
While those activities are "voluntary", you are strongly encouraged to go to them. This is kind of like a boring Christmas office party. Even though you don't technically have to go, it's pretty much obligatory.
Well, three players were not present for the Bears OTA today: Robert Quinn, Mario Edwards, and Al-Quadin Muhammad.
