Lucas Patrick position on the Oline seems in question
Bears Oline Lucas Patrick made his much-anticipated return to practice on Monday. However, while he was strictly seen as a Center ever since he joined the Bears it looks like he may be looking at a position switch. Indeed, with Sam Mustipher's great play during Patrick's absence, it seems like Patrick could be forced to switch to guard.
The Bears coaching staff mentioned that they are still looking at every single combination and they are trying to make sure that the best 5 players are on the field in front of QB Justin Fields.
«We're gonna be open-minded to that,» Eberflus said last week.
Patrick played both center and guard in his time with the Packers, and the Bears valued that versatility when they signed him. It looks like that versatility may be tested in the next few days...
