Lucas Patrick had very encouraging words for our offense!
Lucas Patrick was one of the biggest signings for the Bears this off-season. While he is not the biggest name, he should provide a huge boost to our offensive line that needs all the help it can receive at this point.
Here are some of the most interesting quotes he said during his interviews following the second day of OTAs.
Patrick on his first impressions of Justin Fields: "Fast. He can get moving pretty quick...it's like the ball gets faster in the air...couldn't have a better start to a working relationship. He's really talented. I thought he was going to be really good and he is exceeding my expectations."
He also added: «He's got a live arm. There were a few throws he made today where it's like it keeps getting faster in the air. "
Finally, I really enjoyed it when he spoke about our new OC Luke Getsy. Let me remind you that Patrick played under Getsy for the majority of his career with the Packers.
Lucas Patrick on Bears OC Luke Getsy: «Every time I've seen him work with players, I've seen them progress. It's really easy to go run through a brick wall for a coach you believe in."
