Jaquan Brisker just underwent surgery...
After the good news that LB Roquan Smith was going to play for the Bears in 2022, here is a not-so-good one.
Ian Rapoport reported that impressive rookie safety Jaquan Brisker recently underwent surgery to repair a thumb injury. It's been fixed now and Brisker has a real chance to be ready for Week 1.
Brisker stood out early in camp but has been sidelined the last few days.
While I'm glad that he will be fine, this is never nice to hear, especially from a player like Brisker. Obviously, he will be a starter for the Bears defense as soon as he is back at full strength.
