Ian Rappoport believes the Bears are actively trying to trade Teven jenkins
To say that it's been an eventful summer for Bears offensive lineman Teven Jenkins would be an understatement. Indeed, the former second-round pick missed seven consecutive practices at the start of training camp and had to deal with rumors of him clashing with coaches and being on the trade block.
After returning to practice, Jenkins worked his way from the third-team to second-team right tackle before getting switched to right guard. As we speak, Jenkins is in a prime position to be the starter at right guard come Week 1.
However, according to Ian Rappoport, it looks like the Bears are still trying to move Jenkins. Check out what he had to say on his subject:
I actually find that very hard to believe. jenkins has looked so good since he made the switch to right guard. I don't think the Bears would be willing to give up a potential multi-year starter for what would probably be a late-round draft selection. While I have a tremendous amount of respect for him, I think Rappoport could be in the wrong on this one, for once.
