The Bears have waived 3 players
The Chicago Bears are starting to trim their roster down to 53 players ahead of Tuesday's deadline.
Kevin Fishbain reported that the Bears have waived three undrafted rookies in wide receiver Kevin Shaa, center Corey Dublin and safety Jon Alexander.
The current roster has 76 players, so the team will need to cut 23 more players by tomorrow's deadline.
The team finished up its preseason slate last Saturday with a win over the Cleveland Browns, making them the only team in the NFC with an unbeaten preseason record. The Bears will host the San Francisco 49ers for their season opener on Sept. 11.
It was also reported by Larry Mayer that on Sunday, the Bears waived undrafted rookie tackle Jean Delance.
