The Chicago Bears have a running back duo that's ready to explode in Jordan Howard and Tarik Cohen. Despite the team's poor play calling, Howard still ended up with 1,122 rushing yards while Cohen was second on the team with 53 receptions. It could have been much better according to Howard who called last year's offense "basic and predictable"."I felt great about that because last year we were pretty much basic and everybody knew what we were going do, they knew what was coming pretty much every play so it was pretty easy for them to stop us," Howard said about Nagy saying the Bears' new offense would be fun. "Now, I feel like we're going to be a lot more creative and have defenses off balance."
Under Fox and Loggains, the team ranked third to last in the NFL with 287.4 yards per game and a league worst 175.7 passing yards a game.Howard is pretty positive about the new hires and is tired of facing eight-man boxes, the hire got him excited since the moment he heard about it. "I actually got a text earlier that day that he was going to be announced as our coach so I was pretty excited about that with his offensive background," Howard said. "We struggled on offense this past year so I'm definitely excited about that because we need some help."
How excited are you to see Howard and Cohen excited about Nagy's hiring?
