How this Bears legend inspired Ted Lasso
While on the wildly popular show "Hot Ones," actor Jason Sudeikis revealed an interesting fact about his character.
Sudeikis was asked if he had any inspiration from teachers, coaches, mentors, etc. when it came to creating his iconic character in the hit TV show "Ted Lasso." Sudeikis went on to explain how many attributes of people in his life played a role in his character, but he explains how his characters look is inspired by Bears legend: Mike Ditka:
"You know, the shades, the short polyester shorts and the mustache was very much Ditka."

This comes as no surprise, as Ditka is known very well in pop culture. From his clothing style to his acting ability, everyone loves Mike Ditka!
