Former Bears TE Jesse James Has Found a New Home
Tight End Jesse James was drafted by the Steelers back in 2015, and stayed with the team until leaving Pittsburgh after his rookie contract expired.
He then went on to sign a four-year deal with the Lions in 2019, but only stayed with the team for 2 seasons, as he was released in 2021 after displaying disappointing performances.
After being released, James signed a one-year contract with the Bears, where he appeared in 14 games, made 7 catches for 62 yards, along with 1 touchdown. He then signed with the Browns following the 2021 season.
James' 2022 season came to an end quickly, as he was placed on the IR after 2 games, and has not played in a game since.
